Ultra Ebonic Shiny RnB

Okay, some of yall will know what im talkin about and some of yall won't but its definitely almost a genre unto itself: Ultra Ebonic Shiny RnB.

You know the over produced KayGee from Naughty by Nature sounding RnB music that incorporates words like wifey? That stuff. This music is my guilty pleasure and i will go as far as to say this: if you did not go to clubs to actually dance and try to get phone numbers you probably dont like this. This is music for the clubs and ppl who drive around with their windows/tops down regardless to the weather with an unbuttoned blowy shirt on, hair relaxer optional. Now if you want to argue its specific origins id be willing to wager that KayGee was around to set it off. Shit, Zhanee may be its grandmother if you wanna get technical. Groove Theory was too gritty in my opinion, definitely wasnt sleek enough.

The song that prompted this entry is Lil' Mo's joint Make it Official with Fabolous. You know the joint where she is talkin to her dude like "nigga we gettin old an i got a few kids, you may as well just marry me cus you gettin uglier and im getttin wider. we stuck." That song has been in my head for WEEKS but unfortunately youtube aint got the video some im forced to just keep goin over the hook in my head, unless somebody wanna post a yousendit link or something.

I'm sure you remember Next and their SMASH top 40 hit Too Close, aint too much to say besides ''feel a lil poke". Lil Poke?!?! If i was RL and nem man idda been offended and maybe even commented on my girth and/or stamina.

Next - Too Close

Then we have Ideal* who were also KayGee produced if im not mistaken which i very well could be. Fuck what you heard, pound for pound their song Whatever was, is and always will be a fucking JAM.

Ideal Whatever

Another tongue twister shiny ass RnB song. I have no idea what the hell they were saying on that part at the end when they did the whole 'ride out and licky licky till it get sticky' deal. And the hook was just as confusing. I just kinda made up my own words and used it to game girls as i danced with them.

Next Wifey

Okay i feel like goin to get a bald fade and drinkin some colorful ass drink with a liquer involved after posting this shit. Who's with me? *Good lookin on that hook homie, we gonna SMASH em!
