The best paris hilton coverage ive seen by far

See now with me being home all the time i usually am up watchin extra and the insider and shit like that cus well frankly, i just kinda like tv. I watch the court shows alot, especially judge milian with the peoples court. Thats one foxy ass older woman, for reals. Her saucy ass be wearing firetruck red stilettos with that robe too, NIGGA! but i digress

the most irritating news story by far is this paris hilton in and out of jail thing. i mean for real when i got my dui wasnt nobody followin me the fuck around. wasnt no judges cuttin me no breaks. none of that extra shit, just a nigga with a suspended license, higher insurance and a job he could no longer drive to. i dont find her drunk driving news worthy at all and finally Mika steps up and lets the world know that she dont either.

kudos mika, hip hop could learn a thing or two from you...

Cappadonna caught the holy ghost

he pulled it together in the end with his winter warz verse but i remember just lookin at the stage like what the hell is goin on?
and thinkin back is it just me or does anybody else feel like decks lp shoulda dropped before cappa's? i just remember being confused at how dude could just come home from jail and cut infront of the line taking decks spot.

Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival Recap

DEAR GETTY: whoever credited us as kidz in the hall over at getty please fix it.. PLEASE! naledge and double0 are the homies but im sure they would rather be credited as themselves. shout out to them tho, they are the homies and im dying to get in the studio with em. me and double 0 been talkin about it for a minute and since naledge and ilyas are both in town we gonna see what we can do about it.

okay so im just gonna go out on a limb and say saturday was was probably the most important show we have played to date.

we were scheduled to go on at 1:30pm and im not gonna front i was kinda worried about that early slot cus when a show rocks til 8pm and you are rockin at the top of the lineup its not exactly prime realty. i mean somebody has to open the show and in the words of little brother it IS so much better being ya opening act but thanks to Poison Pen being added to the line up on the spot and the hip hop gods we didnt hit the stage until roughly 3pm. By that time a nice lil crowd had accumulated and we were good and jittery.

gotta take the bitter with the sweet tho and while a later slot time was pretty damn sweet they told us we would lose 3 minutes of our set. we spazzed for a minute but then decided to cut ilyas' sittin at the bar verse and the entire 30minute outro to walk this/my way (i have no idea what that song is called, shit i dont even know the chorus to and you say yet lol) we usually run a pretty terse set anyway and we are just learning how to not be so mechanical and interact more, especially me. i HATE talking to the crowd lol. rapping is easy, talking not so much but the intro to sittin at the bar has really helped me with that phobia.

but for me personally something amazing happened on stage, something i have been trying to do for a long time but never have been able to do, i literally blacked out. Usually it takes me the entire set to warm up and finally get to the zone but from the beginning of the first song i was there this time. it felt incredible. like honestly i dont know what the crowds reaction was cus i was just having so damn much fun, it was almost like they werent there. as i bounced from stage to speaker to stage doin my lil dances and adlibs and pacing my breath and controlling my tone and interacting with my band i kinda just phased the crowd, both bridges, a huge body of water and the world out. nothing was there but the stage, my crew and the music.

i hear we did pretty good tho for the rest of the day there was a steady stream of people who came for us or discovered us that day giving up love. now maybe im weird but i still trip off of getting love because well that is what feeds my music in a way, knowing that the people who listen still care. i took a photo with one guy who was only 15, do yall know how crazy that is? 15! i know how impressionable i was when i was 15 and to think that im making an impression on somebody is nuts. seriously man... i mean i remember crafting my life after artists images man. the way they looked, the way they talked the way they moved i imitated as much of it as i could realistically. and when it was time to sell dope and call women bitches, hey i tried my best to keep up. (well the callin women bitches thing still sticks but im workin on it) but its just a weird feeling knowing that you matter. not in the sense of your mom or dad loves you but in the sense that a complete stranger feels a connection to you...yes im getting emo and damnit i deserve to be. i mean did you see the line up? this was the line up and this is as close to chronological order as i can get:

Print - i didnt get to see print but his myspace page is dope
Blitz - i didnt get to see this cat either but again, myspace page is dope
Pack FM - didnt get to see them
Kidz in the Hall - i made it a point to see their set the fact that we . double 0 is the homie and i just met naledge. im a fan of their music so i wanted to take advantage of the opportunity to see em rock. it was dope even tho the wind hates serato and dj's in general.
Poison Pen - ive known pen for a few years now, he wasnt on the line up but ive seen him rock a few times. nice on and off the mic
Tanya Morgan - im in the group and we are awesome
Emily King - thanks to press i missed her set again but she is a sweetheart, very cool girl
El Michels Affair - again the press made me miss it
Skillz - the press pressed on...
Large Professor - i think at this point i had went to eat cus i hadnt eaten anything since 8pm the previous evening. i caught up with him after his set and put my foot in my mouth, :/ sometimes i say really jumbled shit and it comes out all wrong. my bad.
Dres - i was returning from my meal but i got to say hi, I havent forgot his advice.
Consequence - i saw his set and we kept jokin about how kanye was gonna cruise up on a yacht and joint him for the good, bad and ugly, it didnt happen.
Sean P/BCC - i had walked off to make a phone call/absorb what was goin on around me at this point. or was that for skillz? i dotn remember i donteven remember the set order. i know i caught quite a bit of their set tho. nice...
Ghostface Killah - at this point i was exhausted but i still had enough energy to whyle out on my jams. i mean its tony starks for christ sakes!
special guests Jeru Tha Damaja, Chubb Rock, Channel Live, Fat Joey Crack
the only one of these guys i saw on stage was fat joe, other than that i remember hearing them all and each time going "OH SHIT IS THAT _____?!?!?!"

now look at that line up. seriously. LOOK AT IT. this show was like our graduation ceremony or something. i mean its one thing to share a stage with one of them but its a whole nother thing to share the stage with all of them. crazy... fucking nuts!

to everybody that made it out for our set thanks a bunch and it was nice rockin with yall, to those of you who missed our set how was the rest of the show? what were your highlights?

for those of you who missed it... for shame lol

hype williams does anime for kanye & tanya morgan with emily king today

so i dont know if yall have seen these stills but as all things kanye are relevant internet reporting fodder here they are courtesy of: www.fader.com/blog/coveringTM/no/emphatically

looks like it should be fun, i like that ye takes hype out of his picturebox zone, make that nigga work ye (pause) but all that the snippet of harder, faster and its subsequent east village radio rip (the version that has THIS IS TRUELY AMAZING and mark ronson talking all over it thats floating around the net) has done is make me remember how much i LOVE daft punk. never heard of them? never heard the original? you should and you should now (click the picture below):

thats not the real video for the song but its a pretty cool lil clip some dude did between munchy binges in their dorm room at oklahoma state lol. okay im off to get ready for our show with emily king today at 5pm in brooklyn, if you are in the area stop by it should be cool and its free. here are the details:

You ever just feel like watchin somebody get they ass kicked?

okay so ive been gone for a minute but to my credit its been pretty busy over here for me man. we just got off the road from denver and the weekend before that we were in canada with nouvea riche for the nxne festival. dice raw couldnt make it but they still did the damn thing. right now we are gearing up for the brooklyn hip hop festival with ghostface killah, skillz, consequence and a billion other good acts. its gonna be fun unless it rains, then it will be the boho version of summerjam. regardless yall should come out and show your faces... its free!

incase you didnt know im in a group named Tanya Morgan. i dont really talk about it alot but i probably should seeing as how im up here with the other rappers. i'll start keepin yall posted on the shit thats goin on with us and me better, i promise. but in typical fashion you know i got some random youtubage for you, in the form of nyc fights.

i been living here for a few months and ive seen a few subway fights. complete with a woman being thrown off the train for runnin her yap. for some odd reason today i felt like seein some ass kickin so i tuned into youtube to see what i could dredge up. okay ill admit it i dont have cable. actually i dont want cable because well i dont think i need it.

this is a pretty good one. these girls are gettin it in, and can anybody id that thing runnin around by the connector door? is that a rat? a purse? paris hiltons dog?

he choked the SHIT outta dude and even tho the punch was kinda lame it was still a nice solid blow, kudos. but isnt beating up a sloppy leaning drunk a lil bit like bullying? regardless i found this shit to be pretty entertaining

while this wasnt a subway fight tell me this shit wasnt poetry in motion! the big nigga was dancin all around that lil cab driver. poor guy and he got stomped out while weilding a bat.

all in all every fight i found with the exception of that last one, was kinda lame. i mean i dont wanna see nobody gettin mollywhopped too bad and beat bloody n shit but if i did id run a search on kimbo slice. this nigga is a monster. one day we sat and watched all of his fights and i promise dude is terrifying. he punched a nigga so hard his loc fell out.

i mean look at his hair cut, any nigga that looks like that and has chest hair naps the size of 8 balls will kill you.

The corniest adlibs/catchphrases in hip hop hands down.

Im not takin nothing from dude at all. He is is doin it somethin serious for Florida right now and you know that release date is a big deal, trust me I know. But am I alone in being annoyed by "WE THE BESST!"?

Okay there are a million boasts in the world this nigga coulda chose but he picks the most basic shit to say. And not only that he sounds so uninterested when he is sayin it. Like almost sounds bored. DJ KHALED! LISTEN! WE THE BESSST! I cant even lie man the first time i heard him sayin that shit i didnt believe that it was for real.

Honestly man i dont think dude should speak, i think he should just make tapes and let his rapper friends big him up and be quiet. I mean he coulda picked a million assertions and a billion boasts and this dude goes and tries to make a catchphrase out of some shit that isn't catchy at all. Maybe im buggin but I just dont see WE THE BESSST as being anywhere near as effective as DO REMEMBER!, DRAAMAKINNNG!, CANNON!, DRA-DRA-DRAMATIC!, DJ THE FUCK DRAMA!... i mean i could go on for days. But like those mixtape dj's are charismatic and more importantly they sound like they are excited. I promise Khaled just sounds like he is damn near playin playstation nad talkin on the phone while he doin his shit.

It just sounds kinda corny to me but I'll let you be the judge:

while he may be corny as fuck, but that album got some jams on it. i streamed it this morning and i like it

Moving the Cupcakin Movement

this is the most important youtube video that i have posted yet. i mean the clip speaks for itself, aint too much to say about this one besides DAMN I MISS THE BAY! have yall ever been to the bay? if you have you would know that the bay is giving ANY city you live in a run for its money in any area. Music, they got it. Women, they got em. Scenery they got it. I'm gettin a lil misty just thinkin about it.

but i digress...spread the word, its all about cupcakin summer 07.

*shoutout to the homie who put me up on this one man. i dont wanna name check you cus i dont know if you want that type of shine but you are a gentleman and a scholar who prolly got mo hoes den me. lol

Akon just cant win huh?

so we all heard about his 'trip to africa' and that sweet lil underage thang him and the r sexasauras kelly was fighting over right? if not feel free to provide a google map to that rock you livin under so that we can get you a subscription to the Late Pass Daily Newspaper. But now it appears that Mr Chipmunk is throwing little white kids offstage for throwing things at him during his set. It dont look too bad and frankly who cares about him tossing this kid offstage? I mean even if there is nothing else going on in the hip hop news this shit is still ho hum. Between T-Pain wanting to give Ray J head and Marcus Garvey Akon was tryna give that 14 year old Konvict Music is really gettin some of that good free press.
