                First of all, rest in peace to Kevin Powell, shot to death last week by the cops of the wonderful (sike) town of Santa Ana last Tuesday. I didn’t even know about the situation, I was informed by some of my peoples from out there when I went to my little brother’s football game this Saturday. I further researched the situation and was upset (not surprised) at what the news said about it, in contrast to what my peoples told me. I’m not gonna go into what happened, what I was told, or anything like that…Why? Like I said, this shit happens all the time. I got peoples locked up for bullshit, I got friends who lost people due to police, it’s bullshit, plain and simple. Jena 6 was nothing new…in fact, we had an incident out here in Long Beach that was somewhat similar to that…but I’m sure nobody knows about it, cuz Mos Def wasn’t out here for that. So while he’s upset that nobody else showed up to Jena, I’m upset that he showed up to Jena like that is the end all be all as far as racial tension goes, and then bitched cuz nobody was there with him. This shit happens all day, every day. I’m sorry Mos, but don’t show up to an event, then think your Malcolm cuz you were at ONE event, and call everyone else Souljah Boy cuz they didn’t show up to that ONE event. Fighting for rights, lives, and freedom is a 24 hour, multi-location battle. I personally lack the time to partake in that war, so I appreciate everybody who shows up to everything. I wish I could. But don’t start dissing others cuz they don’t show up to a specific event, cuz I’m pretty sure there’s a lot of events you don’t make it to either.

                Ya’ll know I created the internet right??? I was woken up this morning by a call from one of my peeps saying they’re getting those new Sidekick Lx’s today for cheap.  I’m not a sidekick person. Truthfully I think they’re trash. Only thing I like about them is the set up of their AIM. (Which is why I may get one, use it for AIM only and keep my Dash) No matter what my opinion of the phone is, I know there is several people who are complete idiots and would spend EXTRA money to get something I’m not even paying half the retail price for. My original plan was to wake up and call around and try and talk to some people about a job, but since I was given this info, I first attempted to negotiate a quick way to make easy money for NOW. After those discussions were temporarily ended, (I’m still on it) I went back to the normal plan. A lot of the people I planned on talking to weren’t working today. Why?? It’s Columbus day. WTF? Paul Wall said there’s no 401k for a hustler, I believe there’s no holidays either, so I pressed on. In the end, I talked myself into an opportunity to get a position that will work very well for me, so things are still looking up….but it doesn’t stop there. Afterwards, I concocted a scheme that would get me my full money back for this GARBAGE ASS HALO 3, cuz I can’t stand it. As you can guess, I feel like I’m on top of the world right now, and a few deals away from feeling like I’m on top of the universe. I’m not letting the fact that EVERY (the Angles, USC, UCLA, the Ducks, the Kings) team in Los Angeles that played lost this weekend. I’m not gonna let the fact that MISSY is being honored at VH1 hip hop honors. Shit…”The Boondocks” comes on tonight, now all I need is to get a(nother) leaked copy of the Wire’s season (I had that early last year), bump into Phonte of Little Brother and pick up the copy of “Get Back” that he drops, play GTA 4,watch the movie “American Gangster”, win the lotto, and achieve that almighty achievement all men are chasing after, and I can die happy. (actually, there’s a million other things I’d like to do before I’d die…but oh well)



So what am I really trying to say with all this?



1.       Stay on your grind



2.       Fuck Christopher Columbus. We all might as well start making shit up, so in the future, lazy fucks can take a day off for a holiday named after somebody that didn’t do shit



3.       I get it for cheap, but if I got it early…fuck you pay me, cuz I damn sure don’t HAVE IT FOR CHEAP
