The Wire Season 5 as told by Brillyance

I've created a monster! So the other day I was talking to my niece about the
greatest show ever created, "The Wire". When she found out the new season was
coming, she said she wanted to catch up on it. I just happen to have all the
seasons saved on my CPU in Divx format. (how did I get those???who knows) She's been watching it ever since, and no matter what my girl thinks, I believe she can catch up before January 6th when the new season starts. So, for all my fellow Wire fanatics, I figured I'd go ahead and tell you what happens next season. How do I know what happens next seasons you ask? For those that don't know, I'm a psychic, that's how. So let me break it down to you.





The 5th season is all about Media and scandal. Members of "The Wire"
production and writing team have previous experience working with the Baltimore
PD, Baltimore newspapers, and Teaching experience, so they pretty much have this shit down to a science. Somebody is gonna get put on front street...guess who...



LT Daniels!! You see, Burrell is in trouble, he's on the outs with Garcetti,
however, Carcetti fucks with Daniels heavy. In order to remove Burrell, Carcetti
being white in the city of Baltimore has to get another black person to replace
him, who better than Daniels, THE company guy? Nobody, but as Daniels gets closer to taking over, Burrell informs Clay Davis (SHEEEEEIIIT) that he has dirt on Daniels, and Clay tells him to take it to the media. Drama ensues. Not only in the office, but outside of the office also, as Mcnulty, one of the few cops people in the hood can root for, goes back to chasing the cat. Shame on him...



Meanwhile in the streets, shit get's hectic. Major Crimes is hot on Marlo's
tail. The easiest way to get to Marlo is to take his man, Chris. The cops don't
know this, but at the same time, they don't have to, because Chris is gift wrapped
for them. Back in the last season, when Chris and Snoop murked off that flashlight
cop for no real reason, Snoop took the flashlights badge as a souvenir. Upon noticing it, Chris took it and threw it away. BAM!!!Fingerprints. Fingerprints on evidence that links Chris and Snoop to a body that was stashed in an abandon apartment. Homicide then throws all the other bodies rightfully on Chris and Snoop. The only thing is will they actually go to jail? Snoop won't. No sir...Snoop will never sit in a jail cell, she's no We-Bay. The cops catch Chris slipping and he goes in. Without Chris' advice, Marlo goes with what he knows, the streets and violence. Marlo has some unfinished business left over from last season...Omar.



So without Chris advice to calm down and wait, Marlo sends EVERYBODY to find
Omar. That cocksucker gotta pay. He puts a huge bounty on his head. In order to
keep his name ringing for eternity, Marlo wants one of his peoples to be the one
to finally take Omar out. He get's his wish, a man like Omar can't live forever,
shit, he can't even live for long, however, Snoop get's popped in an attempt to
take Omar's life. So who get's Omar???



He's just a pup?? Poor Omar, the only homosexual charecter people in the hood
ever root for. Omar has the biggest influence on the whole show. You see, without
Omar, Stringer Bell never would have gotten shot, because anybody else just would have finished Brother from up North off. Had Stringer lived, with Avon locked up Baltimore would have been run by a black mafia, wiretaps never would have touched them, with the assistance of the Russian mob, and Stringers business sense, Major crimes never would have stood a chance. Once Omar and Brother took Stringer out, it left Marlo to get more power, and keep bodies dropping, which in turn, keeps major crimes running. Now, Omar's death will play a big role in shaping the future. Micheal kills Omar. If you didn't see this coming, I don't know what show you've been watching. When Micheal drops Omar he becomes Marlo's right hand man with Snoop dead and Chris locked up. It doesn't last for long however, because Marlo goes to jail. He takes his charges, and figures he goes out as a legend. As he arrives in jail, he notices a familiar face he nor us has seen in awhile. Avon Barksdale. Avon throws Marlo the same look Marlo threw him when he was in court. No need for beef now, both of them understand what happened it the street happened then and happened for a reason. We never see either one of them again. With Marlo gone, alot of property is left open on the Westside. Other members of the co-op suggest that they all split it evenly, however, Prop Joe knows what's up. With Micheal having the heart and skill to drop Omar, Prop Joe suggest that they give some of the corners to Micheal, it wouldn't be to wise to get on the bad side of someone with that type of skill. Prop Joe has a proposition for Micheal. Cuddy tries to persuade Micheal to leave the streets alone, he could do other things, he could even be a boxer. Cuddy tells Micheal he doesn't want to lose most of his life behind bars like he did. However, when Prop Joe hollers at Micheal, Micheal thinks of his little brother, and gladly takes control of a bunch of Westside corners. Dookie stands by Micheals side the whole time, and he handles the business side of things. Stringer and Avon are reborn.





So what happens to everybody else? Bubbles gets clean. Gets himself a decent
bullshit job, and starts trying to get his shit back together. Kima throws him
some money to help him get a place. Kima....she goes back to homicide. Major
crimes is shut down after the arrest of Marlo and Freeman get's promoted behind
it. Clay Davis....SHEEEEEEEIIT, that nigga get's arrested. Him, Ashy Larry and a
bunch of other muthafuckas taking money from the "bad guys". Carcetti decides
to not go to Washington and stays in Balmore (as it's pronounced by most of the mops of the show) After Daniels confesses to whatever it is Burrell had over him, Carcetti finds a way to sweep the whole situation under the rug, along with the school deficit, which Carcetti some how finds a way to put on Mayor Royce. (where it belonged)It comes out that Rawls is gay...oh wait, you don't remember seeing Rawls in that gay bar in the 3rd season when Brother Musoin's dude was looking for Omar? Yea, he's a queer bob, he quits once exposed. Landsman takes over Homicide, and Bunk Moreland get's promoted to Landsman's position.Mcnulty...I don't know. He's a wild card. Truthfully, he could just continue to be Mcnulty. A drunk that fucks anything that walks. That's most likely what happens with him...nothing. Carver get's promoted, so now he's explaining what the fuck is going on in the streets with Comstat. Also, you find out later on that he adopts Randy...who for those that haven't noticed, is related to Cheese. His last name, Flagstaff, is the same last name of Cheese (as shown on the board)Cuddy continues to the boxing gym, and occasionally Micheal stops in to speak with him. Prop Joe???Nothing happens to him, the season ends with him and one of the Russians looking out at the water. Anybody else not mentioned doesn't matter.





Yea, so that's it, done dizz, the best show ever comes to a conclusion.
We all cry. David Simon is coming with a Mini-Series later on in the year about
a bunch of young dudes who go to Iraq. It shows things like their first day their,
their first kill, and all sorts of other shit. It's definately gonna be dope. Be
