Time To Vote On The Best Remixes

Hey people, after getting over 60 submissions (!!!) for the remix contest is took some time to listen to everything a few times to narrow it down to the best. It was very tough to do when we're just picking one winner from each song and some tracks had 5 great remixes that could all easily make it. Nevertheless, we're down to two remixes for each song for you to vote on.

The majority reader vote will count as one vote, along with a vote from myself and another DX staffer. As you know, the winner for each will appear on our upcoming HipHopDX ReMixtape. One lucky producer will have their track featured as our myspace song for two weeks as well.

If you were one of the chosen few, make sure to get your people to vote for you! Thanks to all those who participated, don't worry about not getting picked this time...we've got round 2 starting on Monday! So be sure to check back for new a cappellas to download.

What up folks, one more day to get your remix contest submissions in. Nothing will be accepted after midnight tomorrow, so don't try and send stuff over the weekend like the rules don't apply to you. I know how y'all do.

 

 

Selections should be made within the next week and the next round will start soon! Stay tuned to the blog for more!
