The Best Kept Secret

lanes kanye has created.

So im sitting here listening to this Finer Things track off the Felli Fell album ft. Kanye West, JD, Fabolous & Ne-Yo and one word that comes to mind is 'radio' banger.

not sure how much play its getting (i turn on the radio only when theres a full moon), but i concur the average radio friendly listener will like this. shit, IM even feeling it. but this just proves the genius of Kanye in such a commercial, watered down, ADD era of music. who sang laffy taffy again? i forgot.

i dont know if anyones noticed, but Kanye has created so many lanes, its not even funny. Lets take it back to 01 when Jay-Z was gearing up for The Blueprint...The Takeover, Izzo, Never Change, Heart Of The City....come on. tell me that didnt change the whole producer game. Get Well Soon & Im Good are CLASSIC mixtapes (for the young'ns that dont know). then he drops College Dropout. Slow Jamz with Twista & Jamie Foxx was the summer anthem back in 04. then he went to performing with orchestras....singles about Sierra Leon and Touch(ing) the Sky.

"i told Jay i did a song with Coldplay, next thing i know he got a song with Coldplay..." Kanye West - Big Brother

even Jay and Lupe took a page out of the Yeezy book. now he hit us with Stronger and Graduation. completely flipped it on some other shit. Flashing Lights still gets love in the club (no dance necessary). what other trend is he gonna start? 'Ye definitely created his lanes, and others followed. and thats why Finer Things works. thats how it was back in the day. for all of us that say that hip hop aint like its used to. us 'old' folks that dream of the golden era (94-97) every night when we lay down to sleep. the new generation needs to realize that we saw alot more 'Kanyes' and less 'Shop Boyz' in our day.....Biggie, 2pac, Big L, Wu Tang, Nas, Jay, Mobb Deep, Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, Gangstarr...etc. how are you gonna compare that to Hurricaine Chris, Mims, Sean Kingston, Shop Boyz, D4L, Soulja Boy? now everyone has a dance. keep it real and you will succeed (word to Common). no need to lean, to rock wit it.

who doesnt know about the bear? how fly are those cartoons he comes out with now? just book your plans with KanyeTravel. and heres another hitttt barry bondssssssssssss.......

gotta skip the Frosted Flakes tonite Meka.....you know on a late night that Jack In The Box hits the spot. or maybe its the fact its the only thing open past 10. what you know about taco truck tho?
