HHDX: With multitudes of women stepping in front of the camera trying to make themselves into a star – what is your rule of warning to anyone before they get into this game seriously?

LI: Don’t fall for the hype. A lot of guys know that you’re thirsty and they’ll use that to their advantage. You don’t really have to talk to the celebrities. I mean… I’m cool with everybody. I’ve had conversations with LL Cool J, just to name someone, but a lot of guys use their star power to their advantage. They’re people just like us, though, they’re not superior… they just have more money. Women get blinded by that and they fall victim when these celebrities try to sleep with them. That’s what gives us a bad name. They think that just because someone gave a celeb a blowjob that they’ll become a star. They’re not! What’s worst is that after it’s all said and done, they’re [the celebrity] going to tell others. Look at someone like Superhead. They were passing her around like a blow-up doll! They even gave her a nickname! Now, she’s trying to profit off of it.

HHDX: Has anyone tried to use their status to put you in an awkward situation?

LI: …Besides trying to get at me… I’ve heard stories where directors have put girls in certain situations. But I think they know who they can do that to and who not to. No one has ever done anything disrespectful to me. Once they have a conversation with certain people, they know who they can do that to and who won’t go for that shit! They would have to arrest me if someone did that to me because they would be jacked up if they tried anything.

HHDX: You talked about your boyfriend’s issues with your modeling. How do you keep the relationship afloat, when one has a problem with what you do?

LI: We have our own little system. I don’t show him the photo shoots. We have a regular relationship. I don’t show him the pictures. It helps that we don’t talk about it at all. If we didn’t have that and I kept putting it all up in his face, I think that we’d be arguing about it more and more. The only thing he says is that he doesn’t want to see me doing something where I’m nude or anything distasteful. You know… I’d come home from doing a shoot and he won’t even ask me about it and I’m just fine with that.

HHDX: Music has always been a part of your life and with you Puerto Rican and Dominican descent, that calienté spice is always there, too. So, if you had to compare a song to your sex style – what would it be and why? Continued on page 5 »
