Remember when Hulk Hogan body-slammed Andre the Giant? That was great. I remember watching WrestleMania III with my little brothers. The hype for weeks prior was that the Hulkster was “gonna slam Andre the Giant.” I didn’t believe it. Then again, I was seven. Change is inevitable and Hip Hop is no exception. In one of Hip Hop journalism’s most epic quotables, Chuck D referred to rap music as “CNN for black people.” For all racial and social minorities, I strongly hope this is still the case. I’m eager to see what Immortal Technique, Murs and P.E. themselves will offer people in what remains of 2008.
