As previously reported at HipHopDX, Star and Buckwild of Hot 97 created quite a controversy with his disrespectful coverage of Aaliyah’s death, which resulted in a female co-host walking off the show while it was being aired.

It was reported last week that after Star ignorantly tainted Aaliyah’s memory, and the seven other people who tragically perished in the crash; he was a no show for his shift the following day. The reason behind that is that Aalihah's boyfriend got a hold of him.

For those unaware her boyfriend is none other than Roc-A-Fella co-owner, Damon Dash.

The word is that Damon whipped Star's ass when he saw him. Also, it has been reported that NY’s finest is currently seeking to speak with Dame about the incident.
