Miss Rap Supreme Castaways: Bree

May 22nd, 2008 | Author: Aliya Ewing

DX: During the elimination freestyle you forgot some of your lines; which seemed to be a reoccurring mistake for you. Would you get nervous each time or was it something else?
B:
I’ma be honest. I never ever get nervous. I’ve been doing this for a very long time. What they would do is have us write a 16-bar verse and memorize the whole 16 in just an hour. Now, for people that you see whipping through it like nothing; those are the people that probably did not write their verse. If they go through it and write it and memorize it like it’s nothing, and make no mistakes; it was probably a pre-written verse. And that’s the truth. I’m not saying everyone does it. But I can definitely tell that some of those verses were pre-written.

DX: Now that you’re off the show who do you think deserves to win?
B:
I’m not even gonna comment. I think everyone is really talented in the house. Everyone is talented in their own way. Some have nasty attitudes…and I believe as an artist you shouldn’t just be judged by your talent you should be judged by your whole demeanor and how you deal with people. But I don’t wanna say no names [laughs]

DX: [Laughs] So, speaking of Chiba …
B:
[Laughs] you said Chiba, not me!

DX: How did you feel about Chiba stirring up drama in the house, especially in the last episode?
B:
I don’t think she was stirring up drama. That drama was already between [Chiba and Byata]; she wasn’t trying to make it worse. It's clear Byata has a big mouth and she talks about everybody on the show. And what’s sad is that I didn’t even know that she was talkin’ bad about me until I watched the show. And if you watch during elimination, she grabs my hand and she’s all smiley…but how is that possible when I sit and watch her talk bad about me every episode. I don’t even wanna get in the middle of all that. It’s not cool. It’s not cool at all. I’m not gonna go there.

DX: So what’s next for you?
B:
The fun has just begun. I’m finishing up my album, I’m getting in with a music talent agency so I can get on tour, I’m looking into some acting agencies right now. I’m talking to different publicists….I’m just gonna keep it going: music, movies; wherever there’s a camera, I’m workin’ on it right now [laughs]. Reality TV stars get forgotten quickly. So as long as you keep your face in the media and on the camera then you won’t be forgotten. And that’s my whole objective.
