HHDX: How’d you do that?
DA: It was something that I discovered after the first or second night of being on the show. I found out that I do my best work when I’m drunk. So, when I saw it on TV, I’m laughing my ass off. You don’t realize that you have haters until you see the show. It was hilarious to me to hear people say that I’m gay; down right funny as hell.
HHDX: So, are you gay?
DA: Man, I’ll put it straight out there… I’m not gay. I’m not in one way possible gay. My last employment is nothing. My ex-girl came to the house! She was fuckin’ hot; blonde and I did her when I got home. People hated on me though.
HHDX: But her family was questioning your sexuality, too…
DA: They hated me. I did their daughter for a year, so… of course that would piss them off. I also do theater, which was, for them, a red flag. But I want to learn how to act. I’m more so a television guy, so you’re not going to see the last of me.
HHDX: What type of show would you want to do?
DA: I wouldn’t mind doing a show with the rest of the cast. Nothing is in the works, right now, due to the contract with VH-1. But it’s going to happen. I’ll get my own show. You’ve seen me, already, I’m funny as all hell.
HHDX: When I spoke with Onix, you guys were hanging out in New York. What have you all been doing since your elimination?
DA: Right now, I’m doing the Party Boyz tour. It’s me and Heat and we go around just performing. Actually, we just came back from doing a show. It was us, Akon, J. Xavier and a whole bunch of others. It was great! We did the whole [drunk dancing] scene again in front of 4,000 people. Coming up, we got two gigs in New York. Then we’re going back to Texas and then Boston. It’s great. I make a great amount of money doing what I’m doing.
HHDX: What made you want to be on the show?
DA: Realistically, I wasn’t even going to do the show. You know that VH-1 airs a reality show. It’s on everyday of the week, you know? But the guys from LA cornered me and I decided to take them up on the opportunity. Business-wise, this is a plus. Anything I want to merchandize, I have the exposure and the recognition to be able to put it out there. People will catch onto it. They’ll come to me and they’ll be there with a show and it’ll be a beautiful thing.
