Childish Gambino Debuts New Kanye West & Kid Cudi Collabs Ahead Of Final Albums

Childish Gambino has further fueled excitement for his musical comeback by premiering collaborations with both Kanye West and Kid Cudi.

During the second episode of his new GILGA Radio show, which he streamed on Instagram Live on Sunday night (April 21), Gambino played unreleased music while sharing yet more details about his upcoming plans.

The untitled song with Kanye sees the two exchanging bars over a futuristic beat, with the latter rapping about JAY-Z, “New God Flow” and a potential Watch the Throne sequel.

“N-ggas waiting on The Throne like Hov say yes/ I took my shoes out the store, they the new Payless/ That’s the New God Flow, but I don’t pray less,” Ye spits.

He also makes reference to rapper turned OnlyFans star Rubi Rose and BBLs, suggesting his verse is not that old.

Gambino, meanwhile, raps about Draymond Green choking Rudy Gobert which happened late last year.

The song with Kid Cudi is reportedly called “Warlords” and previously leaked in 2021.

Its premiere comes just a few weeks after Cudi appeared to throw shade at Childish Gambino on social media.

When encouraged by a fan on X (formerly Twitter) to work with the Atlanta creator, Cudi dismissively replied: “Im cool.”

Bino addressed Cudi’s comment on last week’s inaugural episode of GILGA Radio, saying: “Kid Cudi, if you got a problem, I’m not here for the beef. Just talk to me. Actually talk to people.

“We don’t have to agree on everything, but we also don’t have to be like, ‘Yeah, when I see you, we have to wanna kill each other.’ It’s like, I don’t — man, life is too short.”

It was during that same stream that Donald Glover also announced plans to release two new albums.

The first, Atavista, is an updated version of his 2020 project 3.15.20 featuring alternate song titles and at least one new guest artist, Young Nudy.

The second is called Bando Stone & the New World and will serve as a soundtrack for a film of the same name that Glover is working on. It will also be his final album under the name Childish Gambino.

It’s unclear when both projects will be released or if they’ll include the aforementioned Kanye West and Kid Cudi collaborations.

In addition to debuting new music, Gambino also used his latest livestream to announce that he is going on tour later this year.

While details are scarce, the rapper/actor’s Instagram bio now links to a website for “The New World Tour” where fans can sign up for updates.
