Sydney, Australia

The artist behind the controversial mural of Kanye West kissing himself claims to have sold a modified print of the artwork to a currently unnamed buyer.

Last week, Scott Marsh requested $100,000 and a lifetime supply of Yeezys to remove the mural, which was plastered on to a building in Chippendale, Sydney.

At the time, Marsh revealed that someone who claimed to be from Kanye’s management team offered him a “pretty decent chunk of money” to paint over the lofty mural.

“I’m offering an oversized print which has been painted over for $US100,000,” Scott Marsh said at the time. “It’s an open invitation to Kanye. If he buys that print then I’ll paint over the mural…”

With the mural now on the way down, rumors have began circulating suggesting that Kanye has indeed coughed up the cash to see the 20-foot piece of artwork removed.

“If anyone needs me I’ll be at the #lordgladstone drinking from the topshelf[laughing crying emoji]….” Marsh wrote on Instagram. “#whatamonth#kanyeloveskanye #kanye #kanyewest#sold #scottmarsh @1xrun”
