With XXXTENTACION out of jail and a rumor going around claiming the Florida artist signed with Atlantic Records, people on his team are apparently doing damage control via social media. “@xxxtentacion has NOT signed to Atlantic or any major label. He did a partnership with EMPIRE and that’s it. INDEPENDENT. Thank you for all,” Solomon Sounds (his manager) posted to Twitter, swiftly ending any speculation indicating otherwise.

Triple X did, however, participate in a Q&A session on Periscope before his appearance on 103.5 The Beat in Miami, where he addressed the topic of Drake biting his flow. He later took it one step further and claimed “drake mom kinda cute, she could get it,” which is most likely meant to goad Drake into reacting.
