Remy Ma’s Reaction To Nicki Minaj’s “No Frauds” Visual

Remy Ma doesn’t think anything of Nicki Minaj’s “No Frauds” video, which also happens to feature a cameo from her ex-homegirl Rah Ali.

Nicki did mention Rah by name in the song, so her appearance came as no surprise to Remy.

“I wasn’t particularly shocked,” Remy revealed during her interview on Power 106’s The Cruz Show Tuesday (May 16). “You know what? Nothing shocks me anymore…I’m never like, ‘Oh my god I can’t believe it.’ Nothing really shocks me and nothing really moves me neither. I have to care to be like, ‘Oh my god.’ But if you don’t care, it really doesn’t matter at all. I would guess the only question that probably piqued my mind was like, ‘Why you lying though? Hmm, strange. Alright, moving on.’”

It’s pretty much safe to say that Remy is completely over the beef with Nicki.

IAMSU! also let DX know what he hopes his own legacy would look like in the future.

“I want my legacy to be of someone that was extremely talented in music and brought a new wave to Bay Area music,” he says. “And introduced a sound that carried on for generations. And just somebody that was really positive. That’s what I want to be known for.”

Bassist Erick “Jesus” Coomes of the Boston funk band Lettuce shared a few stories with HipHopDX about his experiences working with the likes of Eminem, Method Man, DJ Quik (who gave him the nickname Jesus) and Kanye West.

Coomes worked on “All Falls Down” with Mr. West. Here’s what he says it was like being in the studio with Kanye while he’s making music:

“In regular party situations, I will totally back up Kanye and say I’ve met this man,” he says. “He’s a cool dude. My first word to describe him would be humble. He’s a humble person that just gets really excited. We get excited about music, you know? He might happen to make a really awesome beat. Just like you or I would hear his beat and say, ‘Wow that’s incredible.’ He does the same thing.”
