Birdman has evidently had enough of people criticizing him over his alleged treatment of Lil Wayne. The Cash Money Records CEO took to social media on Wednesday night (October 11) to issue a profanity-laced tirade at those attempting to muddle with his business.
“I be hearing all you niggas talking about this Lil Wayne shit,” Birdman said during his 11-minute rant. “Lil Wayne this, Lil Wayne that. Bitch, Lil Wayne my son. I raised him. He ain’t had nothing. I brought him to be something, and got something. Bitch, you think I ain’t gon’ make sure he straight?”

He continued, “Suck a nigga dick, bitch. I’ma show all you pussy ass niggas that ever got in my business. Fuck ya, nigga. I’ma show you don’t play with me, nigga. I’m what you call a fuckin’ real mastermind, you lil’ bitty bitch. You heard me? And if you cross my line, you already know, I ain’t even gotta tell ya. You know what type of nigga I am. That’s how it is. Fuck ya, nigga. Tear ya ass up, playing with me and mine.”
For close to three years now, Birdman and Wayne have been embroiled in a financial and legal battle over the release of Weezy’s Tha Carter V album.
In July, Wayne reportedly claimed via court documents that Birdman and Universal Music Group worked together to short-change him by tens of millions of dollars. A month earlier, Weezy lashed out at Birdman again, telling the rap mogul to “suck my dick.”

After Birdman’s video emerged online, Rick Ross took to Snapchat to respond to Baby’s rant.
“Boy, you a year late, and five years late paying that man his money,” Ross said, alluding to claims Birdman has failed to aptly compensate Weezy for his work. “Pay that man his money. We know you ain’t right. Stop with the jokes, nigga. Bring that shit, baby. Bring it.”

Rozay continued, “Have no fear. All that talking shit, nuh-uh. That shit don’t work round here, baby. We’ll put you in check, nigga [or] put you somewhere else. Nigga, that’s on boss … MMG that’s 305. I said it. I say a nigga name when I’m muthafuckin’ time for me to see you. Shut up and pay niggas your debt, nigga. Clean your face, nigga.”
Ross hasn’t hesitated to share his thoughts on Birdman’s alleged treatment of Wayne and other artists in the past. Throughout his track “Idols Become Rivals,” from his 2017 album Rather You Than Me, Rozay took aim at Birdman for his financial dealings with Weezy and DJ Khaled, among others.
“I pray you find the kindness in your heart for Wayne/ His entire life, he gave you what there was to gain,” Ross raps. “I watched this whole debacle so I’m part to blame/ Last request, can all producers please get paid?”

Rozay later cleared up his intentions with the track during an interview with Complex.
“A lot of people may have took that as a diss record, but for me I hope homie took something from that,” Rozay said. “I hope something good come from that. I hope that him and Wayne will be able to work out whatever it is, and anybody else that’s watching will understand there’s different ways to deal with things.”
