Gucci Mane has been on a tear since getting out of prison in May 2016, and it seems like the good times are set to continue for the recently married rapper.

Fresh from dropping a bestselling autobiography, Gucci announced that his record label Atlantic Records is putting even more faith in him by putting a $10 million extension on his contract.

The $10 million seems to be going toward Gucci’s plans for his next album — called El Gato The Human Glacier, apparently — judging by the tweets that the Atlanta rapper put out last night.

Writing to his fans on Twitter, Gucci said “Thank You @AtlanticRecords for the 10 million dollar extension #ELGATOTheHumanGlacier. I appreciate It sincerely.”

Gucci also shared his good vibes ahead of his next project, writing, “I feel like I’m a brand new artist working on his 1st album.”

The contractual re-up also makes it seem as if Guwop’s plan to go “100 percent independent” in 2018 are on hold for now.

Atlantic Records has yet to officially confirm the $10 million investment.
