Dres, who rose to fame as one half of the duo Black Sheep, surprised fans on Twitter with an announcement that he would be dropping not one, but two brand new projects.

“I have a new project I’ve been putting together,” he explained in a tweet on Monday (November 27). “It starts with a mixtape and ends with the release of an album of the same name, Tortured Soul.”

Although this appeared to be his official announcement, he previously referenced the mixtape title in a November 23 tweet about the release of his new single “Patience.”

While Dres hasn’t shared any information about a release date, he did note that the production lineup would include J. Sands of Lone Catalysts, Jorun Bombay, production duo The Ruckazoid and Teeko, and Seattle beatmaker BeanOne.
