Kirk Knight has opened up about his recent mental health struggles which have led to him thinking about ending his own life.
On Wednesday night (January 11), the Pro Era rapper took to Twitter to bravely discuss his inner battles with his fans.
“I ain’t gonna lie I wanna off myself everyday but I promised 2 many loved ones I ain’t gone out like that but lord knows sometimes fr,” he wrote. “Shit living hell.”

Plenty of worried followers flooded the Brooklyn native’s replies with uplifting messages sending their love and letting Knight know how much he’s inspired them.
“Naw the world needs you big bro,” one person wrote while another close friend added that she texted Kirk Knight on the side too. “I just texted you bro you are loved so much please remain strong always.”
A fan continued: “Bro, we love you, Kirk!! We can’t have another Steelo. We need to see your talent actualized! We can’t be something we can’t see! You got this!”

The 27-year-old opened up further in a response to a fan about how the public eye doesn’t even know half of what he’s had to overcome in life as well as navigating the music industry.
“I ain’t gonna lie to u, y’all only know what I tell y’all If y’all knew y’all wouldn’t even know how I went platinum the first time,” Knight wrote.

Pro Era previously lost a member to suicide about a decade ago when Capital Steez passed away during the early hours of Christmas Eve 2012 after jumping off the Cinematic Music Group headquarters building in NYC.
On the music side, Kirk Knight didn’t release a project in 2022, but he closed out the year strong with the hypnotic single “Walkthru.”
He also laced Flatbush Zombies rapper Meechy Darko with a chorus for his debut solo album, Gothic Luxury, appearing on the song “CURSED” alongside Vita.
