Ugly God has been accused of murdering the father of his best friend, who was shot and killed over a month ago.
In late June, Renaldo Delavallade passed away in Gulfport, Mississippi from gunshot wounds. As per WLOX, the police were notified about a midnight shooting but were unable to get there in time to save the person in question.

Upon arrival, they found the 50-year-old dead inside a vehicle. Police Chief Adam Cooper told the press that they have a suspect in custody, but no further details have been revealed yet.
A person related to Delavallade who goes by Tishia on social media has since posted multiple TikToks asserting that Ugly God (real name Royce Cornell Davison-Rodriguez) was responsible for the shooting.

Additionally, she shared a case report showing that the 26-year-old rapper is a suspect for carrying out the murder with a small caliber handgun. She also claims that he won’t be prosecuted due to his connections despite boasting about his involvement in the crime.
“Hi, my name is Renaldo BUGGIE Delavallade,” she captioned the first of two tribute videos. “I was 50 years old when I was murdered by my sons best friend 06-29-2023..At the home I live at with his mother and my wife, and two of our sons. There was an argument the night before that included his mom, Rhonda Reese and Safina Dedeaux my wife. Whom stood by and was present at the whole shooting [four suspicious emojis].

News of the tragic losses comes just days after a rising L.A. rapper was found dead on Thursday (August 3) from what police are calling “foul play,” and they are now launching a full investigation into what could have happened.
According to The Los Angeles Times, the body of Sirtanky (real name Javonnta Murphy) was discovered inside of a metal barrel that washed up on the shore of Malibu Lagoon State Beach, California in late July. At the time, the maintenance worker who discovered the barrel didn’t open it, nor did he suspect anything out of the ordinary about it.
The 55-gallon container was subsequently discovered by a lifeguard in the Malibu lagoon the day after washing ashore. When the lifeguard brought it to shore, he opened the container to discover the body of the rapper. The lifeguard told the outlet that he opened the container because its weight was “suspicious” to him.
When the barrel was opened, Sirtanky wasn’t in a state of decomposition, which suggests that the death may have been fairly recent. However, the coroner’s office has not yet confirmed this detail.

“At about 8 p.m., there’s a high tide here, and there’s a possibility that the container could have come in from the ocean and then got stuck in the lagoon — but we don’t know,” Lt. Hugo Reynaga of the sheriff’s homicide bureau said about the body’s discovery.
