Westside Gunn has shared his reaction to Kanye West namedropping him on a song from one of his upcoming Vultures albums.

The Griselda boss took to X (formerly known as Twitter) on Tuesday (February 20) to share a clip of Ye previewing a new track that references him.

ā€œS/O to YE for the Shout. #CULTURE,ā€ he wrote alongside the video.

The footage is from Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ignā€˜s Vultures listening party in Las Vegas in December.

ā€œWe on the westside, the gun in the Tahoe/ Jesus Piece on me, watch out for diablo,ā€ Ye raps on the song.

He also namedrops Kodak Black, John Gotti, Pablo Escobar and Griselda Blanco in his verse.

Itā€™s unclear if the song will appear on either of Kanye and Ty Dolla $ignā€˜s upcoming Vultures sequels, which are set to be released in March and April.

Westside Gunn collaborated with Kanye West on ā€œKeep My Spirit Aliveā€ from 2021ā€™s Donda, with the song also featuring Conway The Machine and KayCyy.

The Buffalo native spoke to Complex in September 2021 about his relationship with Ye.

He added: ā€œBecause of the way he act or whatever the case may be, they donā€™t get him. They donā€™t understand him, but heā€™s a good dude. Heā€™s a respectful dude, and any time he ever came to me, itā€™s always been love and always been respect. Youā€™ve got to love and respect that.ā€

Westside Gunn also previously credited Kanye West, along with JAY-Z and Eminem, for making him realize how ā€œillā€ he was.

Kanye West and Westside Gunn have a new collaboration on the way called ā€œWhere They Atā€ which will appear on French Montanaā€™s Mac & Cheese 5.

The project was set to arrive in January but has since been delayed. A new release date yet to be confirmed.
