Filmed in a cemetery, the morbid visuals for Slaine’s new track, “Slaine Is Dead,” do exactly what they’re supposed to do—illustrate the story. The La Coka Nostra alum “pleads his case” that the old Slaine, in fact, is dead.

After going down the dark path of addiction, the Boston native seems to reflect on the person he used to be and all that he’s been through to get him to where he his today—sober and, more importantly, alive.

The Slaine Is Dead EP dropped September 23 and is available here.
