Consequence popped up on one of HipHopDX’s favorite releases of 2016, A Tribe Called Quest’s We got it from Here… Thank You 4 Your service, and since that album’s release it has been a whirlwind of performances and press for him. During a recent stop on Funkmaster Flex’s freestyle show, he made his first appearance of 2017 and went in over EPMD’s classic 1988 Strictly Business track, “You’re A Customer.” Watch it above.
