HipHopDX Premiere: Brooklyn rapper Rock, half of the legendary Hip Hop duo Heltah Skeltah, is back with a new video for “Shine Down” featuring Kofi Black. The song comes from Rock’s new album, Rockness A.P. (After Price), his first ever studio album.
Comprised of Rock and the late Sean Price (who went by Ruck at the time), Heltah Skeltah burst onto the scene with Duckdown Records in the mid-90s and soon developed a cult following.
Although Price passed away in August 2015, Rock is carrying the torch for him on Rockness A.P, which dropped on Friday (September 21).

The 14-track effort features Boot Camp Clik’s Buckshot, Smif-N-Wessun, Wu-Tang Clan’s Raekwon, Method Man and Inspectah Deck, M.O.P (Lil’ Fame and Billy Danze), Ras Kass, Kuniva of Eminem’s D12, and Young Noble of 2Pac’s Outlawz.
