HipHopDX Premiere: In the spirit of Colin Kaepernick, Houston rap luminary Z-Ro has rolled through with a new video for “Kneel Down.” The visual is intended to shine a spotlight on the socio-political issues that currently plague our country.

“‘Kneel Down’ is not a call for vengeance against those who have needlessly murdered our people while behind the color of a badge,” Z-Ro explains to HipHopDX. ‘Kneel Down’ is not about disrespecting the flag or the national anthem either. It’s simply saying that what Colin Kaepernick is doing — kneeling down  during the national anthem to bring light to the unpunished injustices we endure from law enforcement — is his/our 1st amendment right to free speech. Not to mention, its a ‘peaceful protest.'”
